Philosophy

The most important thing in life is our friends, families and relationships. We believe that people in a community should support and serve each other in positive ways, with a long term vision. 

We believe that social events, whether family, community or business are important for the happiness and health of everyone,  as such events contribute to the quality of our relationships with each other. 

Mission

We aim to help and support people have enjoyable times together in a visually pleasing, comfortable and relaxing setting.

Our values:

1. Service - we do more than just provide and deliver equipment - we advise on what is needed, how to use the equipment properly (eg: for cooking spit roasts etc) and we help set the equipment up.
2. Honesty - being honest in what we can and cannot do to help people in relation to their event
3. Trust - meeting our obligations
4. Sustainability - hiring rather than buying is good for the environment as it reduces production and waste. We aim to buy goods that are ethically produced. 

Our Role

We see ourselves as custodians managing a set of community resources on behalf of the community. The items we hire are things that one way or another everyone in society has a paid a price for in terms of pollution during production, depletion of scarce resources and disposal costs.

Hiring Versus Buying

Hiring equipment versus buying equipment can help reduce our use of resources and reduce the damage caused by industrial production processes, including carbon emissions. Hiring equipment ensures that equipment is shared and used by as many people as possible over its life time and avoids the need for everyone to buy their own, which may only be rarely used.
